Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari

When I got this book, I thought it would be just another history lesson. When I finished it, I wanted to start again.

This book is a fascinating account of our life as a species so far. A bedtime story of the journey we have traveled and the progress we have made.

It is a crime novel about the genocide we carried out against other species around the world. And to ourselves.

And finally, it is an account of the direction we are heading as beings. Are we even going to continue existing as a species? Is Homo Sapiens even going to be around the next hundred years or so?

This book is all the above. And more.

A must-read if you want to learn where we have been or understand where we are going.
